Dear Community:

Last night, the Benicia Unified School District Board Trustees voted 3-2 to extend the current virtual learning model through December.  The Board directed staff to work on the in-person learning plans for possible implementation after the holidays, including the hybrid model approved before the start of the school year, and what a full-return learning plan could look like should our movement as a County on the four-tier system provide us an opportunity to consider that option in the future.

These plans will be presented to the Board at the November 19th Board meeting.

In the meantime, we will continue to provide the best possible virtual learning model we can to our students.

Sincerely,
Charles F. Young, Ed.D.
