Join us for a transformative in-person workshop designed to address and heal racial tensions within educational settings. This restorative meeting brings together students, parents, and community members in a safe and supportive environment to explore and address issues of racial harassment and discrimination.

Hosted by an expert facilitator trained in restorative justice practices and knowledgeable about Title IV obligations, this workshop provides a unique opportunity for dialogue, learning, and healing. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of their rights and responsibilities regarding racial harassment under Title IV of the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) guidelines.

Through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-life scenarios, attendees will learn practical strategies for responding to and preventing racial harassment in schools. This includes understanding the impact of racial bias, fostering empathy and understanding, and promoting inclusivity and equity.

In addition to the in-person experience, this workshop will be recorded and live-streamed to ensure accessibility for those unable to attend in person. By providing both in-person and virtual options, we aim to reach a wider audience and foster a broader community dialogue on racial equity in education.

Join us as we work together to create safer, more inclusive educational environments for all students, free from racial harassment and discrimination. Together, we can build a brighter and more equitable future for our communities.
