How do I complete online registration?

Start by visiting the online registration for students page located on the district website. 

Where do I get my access code to create a PowerSchool account?

You should have received this from your school site. The District staff can find it for you by calling (707) 747-8300.

I forgot my PowerSchool username or password!

We can help with that.

Username/password info:

  • Check to see if you know the username
  • if so, enter it in the log-in box
  • enter the password in the Password box
  • if you do not remember the password for the account,  click on the line below the log-in box that says Forgot Username or Password?. A reset will be sent to the email on file.
  • if you do not receive the email,  the District staff can look up by child’s name (call (707) 747-8300)

if you do not have an account, go to and click on Create Account tab

I have multiple students, can I link their accounts? How?


Adding a student to a family:

  • Parent site – and then sign in
  • On the left menu
  • Click Account Preferences
  • Click Student Tab
  • Click Add
  • Enter student information
Do I have to complete Returning Student Registration for each student?


What if my student is new and has never attended a Benicia School?

You will need to enroll your student first at the school of residence. The site secretaries will be back after August 7th  and you can call them for an appointment at that time. If you have already completed that process, call the District staff to get your login information.

I’m having trouble with CareDox.
I can’t login!

Use the same login information and password that is used for PowerSchool. DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT even if prompted. This creates duplicate profiles.

I can’t find my student in CareDox

Double check you are using the exact name we have in PowerSchool. They need to match. For example if your student’s full name is “Michael Alvarado-Silva”  CareDox will not recognize “Mikey Alvarado”

CareDox is glitchy and running slow

It may be your browser. For best results, we recommend using Google Chrome. Check to see you are using the most up to date version.

My address or emergency contact info needs to be updated

CareDox uses the same information such as address and phone numbers that PowerSchool uses. If you notice a mistake or need to make a correction, it will need to be corrected in PowerSchool. The only way to make a correction is through the office staff at your school site. Please do not make change requests through CareDox.

What happens if I do not complete this process?

If you do not complete the registration process, your student will not be scheduled for classes. All continuing students must complete registration.

How do I get my student’s schedule once I am done?

You will receive an email when the schedules are ready sometime in mid-August.
