Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am sure our school communities are anxiously awaiting the announcement of our new Assistant Superintendent of Education Services.

I am very excited to inform you that we offered the position to Dr. Leslie Beatson and she has accepted.

Dr. Beatson earned her undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut State University in Remedial Reading and Language Arts. She received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Studies from the University of Vermont. Dr. Beatson has served in Education for twenty six  years.  She served the last four years as the Principal at Matthew Turner Elementary School,  and spent eleven years as the Middle School Principal of Peoples Academy in Vermont. Dr. Beatson taught at Trinity College in Vermont.

We enthusiastically welcome Dr. Leslie Beatson as the new Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, knowing she will be an outstanding visionary leader.
