The Special Services department administers the district’s Special Education Program K-12 including:

• Monitoring all Individual Educational Plans
• Attending local, county and state meetings
• Providing staff development for all special education staff
• Coordinating all placements and transportation for special education students
• Providing input to evaluation of special education personnel
• Supervising the delivery of psychological services
• Supervising the delivery of Health Services
• Supervising special programs and grants including:
• Adult Education
• Special Education Preschools (NRIS)
• Alcohol, tobacco and drug use prevention
• Prepares and monitors budgets for all above programs
• Supervises Inter-District Attendance Agreements
• Performs such other tasks as may be assigned by the Superintendent
