Chelsea Masters, 2nd grade teacher at Semple, applied for a grant through Brandon Crawford’s Step Up to the Plate Foundation. This foundation in conjunction with KNBR and Wells Fargo, provides grants to schools who have a specific need academically and/or athletically.
Chelsea submitted an application for $3,000 in sports equipment and we received the check today at a ceremony with SF Giants Brandon Crawford at AT&T Park. I, along with Chelsea and 2 second graders, attended this very exciting event!
