Dear Benicia Community,
Thank you so much for your patience and flexibility as we made arrangements for our early release today. The safety and health of our students and staff is our primary concern. We made the decision to have an early release today after the shift in the winds and the rapid decline of air quality. We have consulted with our surrounding Districts and County Office of Education. Due to the unpredictability of the weather, wind and air quality, all schools in the Benicia Unified School District, the District office and all programs including Before/After school care and preschool will be closed Thursday 10.12.17 and Friday 10.13.17. All after-school & evening events are canceled. All BHS homecoming events will be rescheduled, this includes Friday’s games and Saturday’s dance.
