The Regular School Board meeting will begin at 7 pm on February 1st at 350 East K Street in the Board Room. The Board will highlight the Benicia Education Foundation. This week’s meeting is pretty light with one discussion item and one action item in addition to the items on for consent.
Dr. Charles Young, Superintendent, will bring forward some Board Policy updates for a second reading and approval on the consent calendar.
Mr. Tim Rahill, CBO, will give an update on the District budget and potential budget adjustments for the 2018/19 school year.
The rest of the meeting will cover a resolution that California School Boards Association is requesting the Board support regarding full and fair funding for California Public Schools.
