The Regular School Board meeting will begin at 7 pm at 350 East K Street in the Board Room. The Board will highlight the District Employees of the Year for 2017-18. These include our site employees of the year and our teacher employees of the year.
This week’s meeting is pretty light with just two reports from our Special Services Department.
Dr. Patton will review the Special Education Performance Indicator Review data and the corresponding proposed action plan which was submitted to CDE for approval. In addition a review of the data following the first full semester of the curriculum support model of special education supports and services at BHS will be presented.
Dr. Patton will also give a report and update on our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a framework for helping schools organize and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and to use data for making decisions. PBIS supports the success of all students.
