Benicia Unified School District (BUSD) Leadership Academy 2017-18 members celebrated their graduation on April 10th. This academy is one of our efforts towards building and maintaining a positive culture in our District. The graduates enjoyed a celebration and were presented with a certificate from the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Young and the Assitant Superintendent, Dr. Gill.
The participants were from the following three employee categories- Management, Certificated and Classified. Some of the topics covered were: Leadership, Public Relations, Hiring and Retaining Staff, School Finance (LCFF), the LCAP, and Curriculum and Assessments.
This program will be offered annually to BUSD employees.
