February 7, Board Meeting Summary:
The Regular School Board meeting will begin at 7 pm at 350 East K Street in the Board Room.
The Board will begin the meeting by highlighting the Benicia Education Foundation.
Up for discussion will be some board policy updates recommended by California School Boards Association that have been reviewed by staff and the Board Policy Committee.
Actions items include approval of the award of contract for the Benicia Middle School phase one modernization and a couple of job description updates. The biggest item will be the approval of the District and Site Safety Plans, which have been reviewed by administration and safety committees at each site. These plans are not attached to the public document at the recommendation of the Benicia Police Department. They can be viewed in the Superintendent’s office by request.
