Good Afternoon,
A Special Governing Board meeting will be taking place this Thursday, July 23rd beginning at 7 pm for open session, conducted from the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street via Zoom. In compliance with Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20 issued by Governor Newsom on March 12th and 21st, 2020 respectively, this meeting will be Livestreamed and recorded via the BUSD YouTube channel linked here: https://www.youtube.com/c/beniciaunifiedschooldistrict. For this meeting, public comments for the closed session can be submitted between 5:00 to 6:00 pm and public comments for the open session may be submitted between 6:00 to 7:00 pm via the google form on this link.
This will be a robust meeting with the following discussion items:
- Childcare and Preschool Summer Updates
- Discussion of the Special Education Model and Continuum of Services
- Budget Update (COVID-19 Impact)
- Plan for Reopening Schools
