A Special Governing Board meeting will be taking place this Thursday, August 6th beginning at 7 pm for open session, conducted from the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street via Zoom. In compliance with Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20 issued by Governor Newsom on March 12th and 21st, 2020 respectively, this meeting will be Livestreamed and recorded via the BUSD YouTube channel linked here: https://www.youtube.com/c/beniciaunifiedschooldistrict. For this meeting, public comments for the closed session can be submitted between 5:00 to 6:00 pm and public comments for the open session may be submitted between 6:00 to 7:00 pm via the google form on this link.
This meeting will provide an update on the Plan for Reopening Schools and the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan. As well as several Non-Consent Action Items which include: The Memorandum of Understandings between BTA and CSEA, the Tentative Agreement between BUSD and CSEA, and the compensation packages between the Confidential/Management Team and BUSD as well as Superintendent Dr. Charles Young’s.
