The Regular School Board meeting of Thursday, September 17th will begin at 7 pm conducted from the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street via Zoom. In compliance with Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20 issued by Governor Newsom on March 12th and 21st, 2020 respectively, this meeting will be Livestreamed and recorded via the BUSD YouTube channel linked here: https://www.youtube.com/c/beniciaunifiedschooldistrict. For this meeting, public comments for closed and open sessions may be submitted via the google form on this link that will be opened from 5:00 to 6:00 pm for closed session comments and 6:00 to 7:00 pm for open session comments.
This meeting will include a highlight from Maintenance, Operations & Facilities and the discussion item will be a report and discussion regarding Food Services. We also have several Non-Consent Action items of which one is the yearly Public Hearing and Resolution No. 20-21-03, regarding the Sufficiency or Insufficiency of Instructional Materials. The public comment link for this item can be found HERE for your convenience as well as on the agenda. Because this is once again a virtual meeting, comments for this public hearing can be submitted between 6:00 to 7:00 pm and when the public hearing is opened. They will be read into the record during the public hearing. Please be sure to label them “Public Hearing” so that they stand out. There will also be the consideration and approval of the 2019/20 Unaudited Actuals with 2020/21 Budget for the district and the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (LCP).
