The Regular School Board meeting of Thursday, November 5th will begin at 7 pm conducted from the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street via Zoom. In compliance with Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20 issued by Governor Newsom on March 12th and 21st, 2020 respectively, this meeting will be Livestreamed and recorded via the BUSD YouTube channel linked here: https://www.youtube.com/c/beniciaunifiedschooldistrict. For this meeting, public comments for closed and open sessions may be submitted via the google form on this link that will be opened from 5:00 to 6:00 pm for closed session comments and 6:00 to 7:00 pm for open session comments.
This meeting’s highlight will be on Technology. There are a couple of resolutions under the Consent Calendar and the Discussion Items include BUSD’s Equity Journey and the First Reading on some policies that need to be updated. The Non-Consent Action Items include BHS Student Athletics, Course Outlines for BHS and Adult Education, and a Resolution to start the request for proposal process for a new Student Information System.
