A Special Governing Board meeting will be taking place this Thursday, December 10th beginning at 7 pm for the open session, conducted from the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street via Zoom.  In compliance with Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20 issued by Governor Newsom on March 12th and 21st, 2020 respectively, this meeting will be Livestreamed and recorded via the BUSD YouTube channel linked here:  For this meeting, public comments for closed session can be submitted between 5:00 to 6:00 pm and public comments for the open session may be submitted between 6:00 to 7:00 pm via the google form on this link

This meeting’s discussion items will include the very important topic of Social and Emotional Well-Being, Suicide Awareness and Prevention as well as an update on Processes and Timelines for In-Person Small Group Learning. There are also several Non-Consent Action Items which include: the approval and appointment of a Bond Oversight Committee Member, Resolution 20-21-10 to meet the legal requirements of Mitigation Fee Act, the 2020-21 Budget Overview for Parents, and lastly the Governing Review and approval of the 2020/21 1st Interim Financial Report for BUSD.
