Dear Community and Staff:

First off, I want to thank everyone, parents and staff, for coming together as we welcomed our youngest students, TK-2nd grade, back to in-person learning.  There was a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm throughout the entire week and campus routines appeared to fall into place fairly quickly.  We are equally excited about the return of grades 3-12 starting Monday, April 12.  Our ongoing efforts will center on not only making the in-person learning experience a positive one, but for students continuing in the virtual learning model as well.

As we head into spring break, I ask that we all continue to be mindful that COVID-19 is still a significant health concern.  Our collective effort regarding important mitigation measures such as wearing face coverings, social distancing, frequent hand washing and avoiding large public gatherings will continue to help slow the spread of COVID-19.   If you or your family is traveling, please check CDC guidelines for quarantine and testing recommendations upon return.

Regarding the COVID-19 vaccination, the Solano County Health Department is continuing their mission to increase vaccine availability to the public.  If you or a family member needs a vaccination appointment, check their website for eligibility or sign up through, https://bit.ly/solanovax or https://myturn.ca.gov/ for vaccine appointments.

The Board Trustees and I wish all of you a safe and restful spring break.

On we go!
