Dear BUSD Families,
We are writing with an update on our new Student Information System, Aeries. We are migrating from Powerschool to Aeries for the 2021-2022 school year and beyond.
Aeries is the most widely-used platform in Solano County.
How will this affect you:
- Online Registration will happen virtually in August
- BUSD will email out communication when it is ready with steps to register via ParentSquare, the new communication software BUSD will be using with the new school year.
- Next year instead of accessing courses/classes and grades through PowerSchool, you will use the Aeries app, available in the App Store for iOS or Play Store for Android or via a browser on a website that BUSD will provide.
- BUSD will provide information on how to access these once we transfer
BUSD is looking forward to this change to our new system and more reliable communication methods.
