We wanted to inform you that the Superintendent Search process is moving right along. We are happy with the responses that we have received so far in the first week that the Online Survey has been opened. In the first three days, we had 102 parents and 39 community members respond to the survey for a total of 141 respondents.
If you haven’t taken the time to respond, please do so now, this survey will be open from: Monday, March 14, 2022 to Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 4:00 PM. Superintendent Search Community Virtual Input Sessions: These input sessions will begin next week and have been scheduled for the various stakeholder groups within our district and community.
We will be holding two Community Forums on Wednesday, March 23rd one during the day from 1:40- 2:50 PM and the second one in the evening from 5:00-6:00 PM. Please consider attending one of these virtual forums with consultants from Leadership Associates to provide input about the desired personal and professional qualities anticipated in the incoming superintendent. Your comments will be used in the development of the candidate profile, recruitment process, and reference checking. The consultants will also compile a summary of all comments received during these sessions and share the report with the Board and with the new superintendent.
During your session, consultants will share an overview of the process, and then ask two primary questions:
- What are the desirable qualities, characteristics, background and professional and personal experiences
for the next superintendent?
- What do you see as the strengths of the district and the major challenges facing the district in the years ahead?
