A Special Closed Session Only Governing Board meeting will be taking place this Tuesday, April 19, 2022 beginning at 1:00pm in the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street. Members of the public may address the Board in regards to the Superintendent Search item prior to the board adjourning to closed session. Speaker cards are available on the entrance table and must be submitted to the Board Secretary prior to the start of the board meeting. The Board President will call all public comments only for the one item on the agenda for this special meeting (Gov. Code Section 54954.3). Comments are limited to no more than three minutes per speaker or the board may limit the total time to 20 minutes per item with the timer displayed on the monitors. By law, no action may be taken on any item raised during the public comment periods and matters may be referred to staff for placement on a future agenda of the Governing Board. This meeting will not be recorded or live streamed.
Again, this is a one item closed session only meeting with Leadership Associates in regards to the Superintendent Search Candidates. We will begin with the Open Session for the roll call, approval of the agenda, and to accept any public comments which will then adjourn to closed session until it is adjourned.
