A Special Closed Session Only Governing Board meeting will be taking place this Friday, May 20, 2022 beginning at 4:00pm in the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street. Members of the public may address the Board in regards to the Conference with Labor Negotiators item prior to the board adjourning to closed session. Speaker cards will be available on the entrance table and must be submitted to the Board Secretary prior to the start of the board meeting. The Board President will call all public comments only for the one item on the agenda for this special meeting (Gov. Code Section 54954.3). Comments are limited to no more than three minutes per speaker or the board may limit the total time to 20 minutes per item. By law, no action may be taken on any item raised during the public comment periods and matters may be referred to staff for placement on a future agenda of the Governing Board. This meeting will not be recorded or live streamed.
Again, this is a one item only closed session meeting. We will begin in Open Session for the roll call, approval of the agenda, and to accept any public comments and the meeting will then be adjourned to closed session.
