A Special Board meeting will be taking place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 that will be called to order from Benicia Unified School District at 350 East K Street at 8:30am. The meeting will be immediately adjourned to Fairfield, California. This meeting is being held to conduct a tour of the Solano County Office of Education Juvenile Court and Community School pursuant to Government Code 54954(c)(2).
Members of the public may address the Board in regards to the matter only on the special meeting agenda prior to the board adjourning to the tour. Speaker cards are available on the entrance table and must be submitted to the Board Secretary prior to the start of the board meeting. As always, comments are limited to no more than three minutes per speaker or the board may limit the total time to 20 minutes per item. By law, no action may be taken on any item raised during the public comment periods and matters may be referred to staff for placement on a future agenda of the Governing Board.
The Board will reconvene at Benicia Unified School District, 350 East K Street, Benicia, CA 94510 to report out any necessary findings and information, and to adjourn the meeting. This meeting will not be recorded or live streamed.
