Dear BUSD Families,
Free meals will be provided for all students for this coming 2021-22 school year. The USDA has extended pandemic flexibilities providing free school meals to all students at all schools through the 2021-2022 school year. We would like to get an estimate of how many students would be interested in receiving meals while they are attending school, so that we can plan and prepare for each day. If your child would like to receive meals while they are at school, please fill out the survey below for us.
You will still need to complete the Free/Reduced Meal Application linked below to receive the following benefits:
– Student eligibility for P-EBT(Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer) benefits (more information https://www.cdss.ca.gov/home/pandemic-ebt)
– Student eligibility for discounted services such as advanced placement testing and internet service provider discounts
– School eligibility for significant additional State Funding
