School Plans for Student Achievement (SPSA)
The purpose of school sites developing a School Plan for Student Achievement is to raise the academic performance and mental health and wellbeing of all students. In BUSD all SPSA plans are:
- Consistent in format across the district, but reflect unique elements of each site
- Aligned to LCAP, address needs of Differentiated Assistance (DA), Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI), and Additional Targeted School Improvement (ATSI)
- Goals & actions based on feedback, student performance, and identified need
- Developed jointly with staff and Site Councils
