We have been informed by the Benicia Fire Department that a Hazmat containment situation is currently in place in the area of Viewmont and East 5th Street. We have been advised by the Fire Department that no individuals will be allowed in this area for an unknown period of time. Robert Semple parents are being asked to pick their children up after school today.  In the event you are unable to pick your child up personally, we will release your child to an individual listed on your emergency contact form.  Children not picked up at release time will remain on site and supervised by staff until you can pick them up. Students who walk through this area or live in the vicinity will need to have alternative arrangements made for getting home.  Students who live in this area will be encouraged to call home to make alternative arrangements or remain on campus until a parent can be reached.
