The Regular School Board meeting will begin at 7 pm at 350 East K Street in the Board Room. The Board will highlight Liberty High School’s Art Club. This week’s meeting centers around a couple of Bond items and Safety Plans.
Dr. Charles Young, Superintendent, will bring forward some Board Policy updates for a first reading and discussion. These updates are suggested by California School Boards Association and reflect passed legislation that went into effect in January.
Ms. Roxanne Egan, Bond Director, and the Measure S Citizen’s Oversight Committee Chairperson will present the annual report from the committee which includes a statement indicating whether the District is in compliance with the State laws and a summary of the activities and proceedings for the year.
Ms. Egan will also present the quarterly update on the Measure S Bond including information on the school facility projects.
Tim Rahill, CBO and Dr. Gill, Assistant Superintendent, will present a report on enrollment and staffing projections for the 2018-19 school year.
The meeting will end with the annual presentation of the site and District safety plans.
