Benicia High School’s debate team continues to win at tournament competitions. The most recent wins were at Diablo Valley College on Sunday. The topic was whether the U.S. should institute price controls on prescription drugs. This required the students to learn about public health, economics, politics and history, and the drug industry. Next, the students will participate in Debate Week at BHS where the students will have five days of contests at lunchtime for a week.
