The Regular School Board meeting of Thursday, October 15th will begin at 7 pm conducted from the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street via Zoom. In compliance with Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20 issued by Governor Newsom on March 12th and 21st, 2020 respectively, this meeting will be Livestreamed and recorded via the BUSD YouTube channel linked here: https://www.youtube.com/c/beniciaunifiedschooldistrict. For this meeting, public comments for closed and open sessions may be submitted via the google form on this link that will be opened from 5:00 to 6:00 pm for closed session comments and 6:00 to 7:00 pm for open session comments.
This will be a robust meeting in which the highlight will be the 2020 Valero Benefit for Children Grant Award. There are several resolutions under the Consent Calendar and the Non-Consent Action Items include the consideration and approvals of Transition Planning for Returning to In-Person Instruction and the Memorandum of Understanding between Benicia Unified School District and the Benicia Teachers Association, as well as, the second reading and adoption of the policies brought for the first reading at the October 1st meeting.
