A Governing Board Special Meeting and Study Session will be taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 beginning at 4:00pm in the Benicia Unified School District (BUSD) Board Room at 350 East K Street. This meeting is being held to conduct a board study session pursuant to Government Code 54954(c)(2). Prior to the Board Study Session a brief closed session will take place to discuss Public Employment and Conference with Legal Counsel items as listed on the agenda.
Members of the public may address the Board in regards to the matters only on the special meeting agenda prior to the start of the closed and board study sessions. Speaker cards will be available on the entrance table and must be submitted to the Board Secretary prior to the start of the board study session. As always, comments are limited to no more than three minutes per speaker or the board may limit the total time to 20 minutes. By law, no action may be taken on any item raised during the public comment periods and matters may be referred to staff for placement on a future agenda of the Governing Board. This meeting will not be recorded or live streamed.
The BUSD Governing Board, Superintendent Dr. Damon J. Wright, Executive Leadership, and District Directors will participate in a Goal Setting and Strategic Planning Board Study Session.
