The Regular School Board meeting of Thursday, November 19th will begin at 7 pm conducted from the BUSD Board Room at 350 East K Street via Zoom. In compliance with Executive Order N-29-20 and N-35-20 issued by Governor Newsom on March 12th and 21st, 2020 respectively, this meeting will be Livestreamed and recorded via the BUSD YouTube channel linked here: https://www.youtube.com/c/beniciaunifiedschooldistrict. For this meeting, public comments for closed and open sessions may be submitted via the google form on this link that will be opened from 5:00 to 6:00 pm for closed session comments and 6:00 to 7:00 pm for open session comments.
This will be a robust meeting in which the highlight will be on BHS Esports. The Non-Consent Action Item line up includes the Solano County SELPA Local Plan, the second reading of the board policy that were presented at the November 6th meeting, the consideration and approval of the Memorandum of Understanding between Benicia Unified School District and the Classified School Employees Association Chapter #1096, consideration and approval of contracts for the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and Human Resources, and consideration and approval of the Early Notification Retirement Incentive as well as the anticipated item on the Reopening of Schools Plan for In-Person Hybrid Learning models in a phased-in approach after winter break, provided Solano County remains eligible via the four-tier state model.
